ଏମଏମଡିଆର୍ କୁ ନେଇ ଗର୍ଜିଲା ବିଜେଡି। ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଅଚଳାବସ୍ଥା ଜାରି। ମହାତ୍ମାଗାନ୍ଧି ମାର୍ଗରେ କଲା ବଡ଼ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ। ବିଧାନସଭାକୁ ଆସିଲେନି କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ ସଭାରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଲେ ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଳ ନେତା ନବୀନ। ମହାତ୍ମାଗାନ୍ଧି ମାର୍ଗରେ ଧସ୍ତାଧସ୍ତି, ବ୍ୟାରିକେଡ୍ ଭଙ୍ଗା। ସଂଶୋଧିତ ଏମଏମଡିଆର୍ ଆଇନ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର ଦାବିରେ ବିଜେଡି ଆଜି ବଡ଼ ସମାବେଶ କରି ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଛି ଚେତାବନୀ। ଯୁବ, ଛାତ୍ର, ମହିଳା ସଂଗଠନ ସହିତ, ବିଧାୟକ, ସାଂସଦ ଓ ହଜାର ହଜାର କର୍ମୀ ଏଥିରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ବିଧାନସଭା ବୟକଟ୍ କରି ବିଜେଡି ବିଧାୟକମାନେ ଚାଲି ଚାଲି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ସ୍ଥଳକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ନବୀନ ମଞ୍ଚରେ ଅଭିଭାଷଣ ରଖି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଟାର୍ଗେଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

The BJD staged a major protest in Bhubaneswar against the MMDR Amendment Act, 2026, while Assembly proceedings remained disrupted over the issue. Party MLAs boycotted the Assembly and marched to Mahatma Gandhi Marg, where a large gathering was held with the participation of youth, students, women’s groups, MLAs, MPs and party workers. Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik also addressed the protest and criticised the Centre and Odisha government over the amended law.
