A major breakthrough may have emerged in the investigation into the suspected orangutan trafficking racket. An SUV, more than 250 CCTV cameras and a hotel hard disk have emerged as key clues for the STF investigation. Investigators have reportedly obtained the hard disk of a suspected hotel in Digha and are examining it for evidence. The registration number of the black SUV captured on CCTV has also been traced. Meanwhile, the identities of the hotel owner and his son have come to light. The investigation team is now working to connect these clues and uncover the alleged orangutan rescue and trafficking network.
