ଫ୍ଲେଭର୍ଡ ରମ୍ ଓ ଫ୍ଲେଭର୍ଡ ହ୍ୱିସ୍କି ପାଇଁ FSSAI ନିୟମ କଠୋର କରିବା ପରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ରଖିଛନ୍ତି। ଅବକାରୀ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ସର୍ବଭାରତୀୟ ସ୍ତରରେ ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡର ମଦ ଉପରେ କଟକଣା ଆସିବ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ମଧ୍ୟ ତାର ଅନୁପାଳନ କରିବେ। ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ସେଭଳି ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡ୍ ର ମଦ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଥିଲେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନୋଟିସ୍ କରାଯିବ। ବଜାରରେ ଫ୍ଳେଭର୍ଡ ରମ୍ ଓ ହ୍ବିସ୍କି ବିକ୍ରି କରୁଥିବା ନେଇ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ କେତେକ ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡର ମଦକୁ ନେଇ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ମାନକ ପ୍ରାଧିକରଣ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠାଇଥିଲେ। ଏଭଳି କଂପାନୀ ଉପରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ପାଇଁ ବି FSSAI ନୋଟିସ୍ ବି କରିଛି।

The Odisha government has responded after the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) tightened regulations on flavoured rum and flavoured whisky. Odisha's Excise Minister said the state will comply with any restrictions imposed on liquor brands at the national level. If such brands are found to be sold in Odisha, notices will be issued against them.

FSSAI had raised concerns over certain liquor brands selling flavoured rum and whisky in the market and has also issued notices seeking action against such companies. The state government has said it will take steps as per the regulatory directions.
