Temple thefts are raising serious concern across Odisha, with miscreants allegedly targeting idols, ornaments, brass articles and donation money. The report highlights incidents involving Maa Rameshwari Temple in Kusupur under Gop police limits, the ancient Uma Ram Lingeswar Temple in Gunupur, Maa Budhi Thakurani Temple in Budhalo under Balianta police limits, and Tarini Temple at Chandanpur in Chandbali. At Kusupur, miscreants allegedly stole a silver crown and brass articles worth lakhs of rupees.
