A 90-year-old former District Judge in Jeypore has allegedly fallen victim to a cyber fraud involving a threat of 'digital arrest.' It is alleged that fraudsters, posing as CBI and RBI officials, intimidated him into transferring approximately ₹2 crore 50 lakh 51 thousand to various accounts. While further transfers were halted following a bank manager's suspicion, the police are investigating the matter.
