The renowned Bandha (Ikat) weaving tradition of Subarnapur continues to bring global recognition to Odisha, with more than 13,000 weavers working on 6,633 handlooms to create intricate handwoven textiles. Their craftsmanship has made the district one of the most prominent centres of traditional weaving in the state.
