Student Drowns During District-Level Sports Event in Khordha

ଖେଳିବାକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ, ଶବ ହୋଇ ଫେରିଲେ । ଜିଲ୍ଲାସ୍ତରୀୟ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାକୁ ଯାଇ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ। ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧାରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲାସ୍ତରୀୟ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତାକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ଆଦର୍ଶ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ୧୫ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ମୃତ୍ୟୁ। ମୃତ ଛାତ୍ର ହେଲେ ବାଲିପାଟଣା ଥାନା ବାରିଲୋ ଗ୍ରାମର ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣବ ସାହୁ। ଦୌଡ଼ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତାରେ ଭାଗ ନେବାକୁ ନରଣଗଡ଼ ଯାଇଥିଲେ।ପଥର ଖଣି ପୋଖରୀରେ ଗାଧୋଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ହଠାତ୍ ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ଯାଇଥିଲେ।

A 15-year-old Adarsha Vidyalaya student, Arnab Sahu of Barilo village under Balipatna police station, died after drowning in Khordha. He had gone to Narangarh to participate in a district-level sports competition, where he was scheduled to take part in a running event. While bathing in a stone-quarry pond, he suddenly drowned. The incident has left the student's family and others in shock.
