ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପୋଲିସ୍ ଡିଜି ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ସଂପର୍କିତ ଦାୟର ଏକ ଜନସ୍ବାର୍ଥ ମାମଲାର ଜରୁରୀ ଶୁଣାଣି ପାଇଁ ସୁପ୍ରିମକୋର୍ଟ ରାଜି ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏ ସଂପର୍କରେ ଦାୟର PILରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରାଯାଇଛି ଯେ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର DGP ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ସଂପର୍କରେ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ କୋର୍ଟଙ୍କ ରାୟକୁ ଏଡ଼ାଇବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଚୟନ ପ୍ୟାନେଲରେ ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ସାମିଲ୍ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

The Supreme Court has agreed to an urgent hearing on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning the appointment of the Director General of Police (DGP) in Odisha. The petition alleges that the Odisha Government is attempting to circumvent the Supreme Court’s ruling regarding the appointment of the DGP.
