A resident of Nepal has described the devastating impact of the August 26 floods, saying their home was swept away by the river. The survivor says that the place where their house once stood is now occupied by the flowing river.
“The river swallowed the house we had in Nepal. Where my home once stood, the river is now flowing,” the resident said.
