Truck Driver Robbed at Knifepoint on NH-16 in Balasore

ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସିମୁଳିଆ ଥାନା ୧୬ ନମ୍ୱର ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ଜାମୁଝାଡି ଛକ ନିକଟରେ ଡ୍ରାଇଭରଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଲୁଟ। ଗୋଟିଏ ଟ୍ରକ ପରିବା ନେଇ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ରୁ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ଯାଉଥିଲା। ଗୋଟିଏ କଳା ରଙ୍ଗର ସ୍କର୍ପିଓ ଗାଡିକୁ ପିଛା କରିଥିଲା। ପରେ ଟ୍ରକଟିକୁ ଅଟକାଇ ଡ୍ରାଇଭର ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ୨ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଛୁରୀ ଦେଖାଇ ଭୟଭୀତ କରିଥିଲେ। ହେଲେ ଟ୍ରକରେ ୩ ଜଣ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସ୍କର୍ପିଓରେ ୬ଜଣ ଥିଲେ।

A truck driver and two others were allegedly robbed at knifepoint near Jamujhadi Chhak under Simulia police limits in Balasore district. The truck was carrying vegetables from Bhubaneswar to West Bengal when a black Scorpio allegedly followed it and intercepted the vehicle. The occupants of the Scorpio reportedly threatened the driver and the two others with knives. While three people were travelling in the truck, six people were allegedly travelling in the Scorpio during the incident.
