US President Donald Trump, addressing the United Nations General Assembly on September 22, warned that he faced a major decision over Iran, saying there could either be a deal that would allow the Islamic Republic to rebuild or he could “annihilate” it if no agreement is reached. Trump also said he believed the US could make a deal with Iran after the November 3 midterm elections. During the speech, Trump also spoke about artificial intelligence, saying the US would use the term “super intelligence” for AI in government documents and arguing that the technology could enable major advances in the future.
