Tukaram Munde’s Action Sparks Stir at ISKCON Restaurants Over Food Safety

ଗୋବିନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ନାଁରେ ରେଷ୍ଟୁରାଣ୍ଟ, ହେଲେ ଖାଦ୍ୟର ମାନ ନେଇ ଉଠିଲା ବଡ଼ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ । ଇସ୍କନ୍ ରେଷ୍ଟୁରାଣ୍ଟରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟରେ ପୋକ, ଅସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟକର ପରିବେଶ ଏବଂ ବାସି ଖାଦ୍ୟ ରଖାଯାଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ । ମୁମ୍ବାଇରେ ଇସ୍କନର ତିନିଟି ଫୁଡ୍ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ଉପରେ ଚଢ଼ାଉ କରିଛି FDA । ଯାଞ୍ଚ ପରେ ତିନିଟି ୟୁନିଟ୍ କୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ଆଉ ଏହି ଆକ୍ସନର ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚିତ ଚେହେରା ହେଉଛନ୍ତି FDA କମିଶନର ତୁକାରାମ ମୁଢେ । ଇସ୍କନ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ତ୍ରୁଟି ସୁଧାରିବା ପାଇଁ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯାଉଥିବା କୁହାଯାଇଛି ।

Food safety concerns have surfaced at ISKCON restaurants in Mumbai after the FDA conducted raids at three food units. The inspections reportedly found allegations of insects in food, unhygienic conditions and stale food, following which all three units were ordered to shut. The action was led by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Munde. ISKCON has said steps are being taken to address the reported lapses.
