Woman Alleges Sexual Assault, Blackmail After Facebook Friendship; Complaint Filed in Bhubaneswar

A woman has lodged a complaint at Maitri Vihar Police Station in Bhubaneswar, alleging that a friendship on Facebook developed into a relationship, after which she was sexually assaulted. She further alleged that the accused blackmailed her by threatening to circulate obscene photos and videos. According to the complaint, the accused is reportedly a resident of Tihidi in Bhadrak district. The allegations have been reported to the police, and further action will proceed as per the investigation.
