A youth was detained near High Court Square in Cuttack after police intercepted a costly sports bike during a checking drive. Police stopped the bike after noticing loud noise from the vehicle and grew suspicious as the youth was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. During the search, police recovered a gun-like object from his waist and seized the sports bike. Preliminary information suggests that the seized weapon is an air gun. The youth and the vehicle have been detained, and police are continuing their investigation.
