The 12-hour Odisha bandh has affected normal life in the capital Bhubaneswar, with Congress and nine supporting parties taking to the streets over four demands. Roads were blocked, shops and markets remained shut, and in some areas tyres were burnt as part of the blockade. Patients, doctors, passengers and drivers were among those affected by the bandh.
