₹241 Crore Flood Compensation Announced for Affected Districts in Odisha

ବନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ୭ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ ସହ ସମୀକ୍ଷା କଲେ, କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତିଜନିତ ଭରଣା ସଂପର୍କରେ ତଥ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ। ରାଜସ୍ବ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଆଜି ରାଜୀବ ଭବନରେ ଏକ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ତରୀୟ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ବୈଠକ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏଥିରେ ଗଜପତି, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର, କୋରାପୁଟ, ମାଲକାନଗିରି, ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର, ଭଦ୍ରକ, ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ। ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ତଥା ବନ୍ୟାରେ ପ୍ରଭାବିତଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷତିପୂରଣ ତ୍ୱରାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବାକୁ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି l

A high-level review meeting was held at Rajiv Bhavan under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari to review flood damage and compensation measures in seven affected districts. Collectors of Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur participated in the meeting. The Revenue Minister directed officials to expedite compensation for people affected by heavy rainfall and floods. The government has reported ₹241 crore in flood compensation.
