ଭଙ୍ଗା ଗୋଡ଼, ଅଦମ୍ୟ ମନୋବଳ... ୧୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ତିନିଚକିଆ ସାଇକେଲ ଚଳାଇ MKCGରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ ୭୩ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧ। ଭଙ୍ଗା ଗୋଡ଼କୁ ପୁଣି ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବାର ଅଦମ୍ୟ ଆଶା ଓ ଆତ୍ମବିଶ୍ୱାସ ନେଇ ଟ୍ରାଇସାଇକେଲ ଚଳାଇ MKCG ମେଡିକାଲରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଶୁକଦେବ। ଦିନେ ଗ୍ରାମରକ୍ଷୀ ଭାବେ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ଶୁକଦେବଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଗୋଡ଼ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଯିବା ପରେ ବଦଳିଯାଇଛି। ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଓ ସହଯୋଗର ଅଭାବ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେ ହାର ମାନିନଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରାୟ ତିନି ଦିନ ଧରି ତିନିଚକିଆ ସାଇକେଲ ଚଳାଇ ଶେଷରେ ସେ MKCG ମେଡିକାଲରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି।
Displaying extraordinary determination, 73-year-old Sukadev, a former Village Guard from Nayagarh, travelled nearly 150 kilometres on a tricycle over three days to reach M.K.C.G. Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur, seeking treatment for his fractured leg. Despite physical pain and a lack of medical support, he refused to give up and completed the arduous journey with the hope of recovering. His remarkable perseverance has drawn attention to both his indomitable spirit and the challenges faced by patients in accessing healthcare.
