Several Girls Fall Ill With Diarrhoea, Vomiting at SSD School Hostel in Mayurbhanj

ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ହଷ୍ଟେଲରେ ବ୍ୟାପିଲା ଝାଡାବାନ୍ତି। କପ୍ତିପଦା ବ୍ଲକ ବଡ଼ ସିମୁଳିଆ ଏସଏସଡି ବାଳିକା ଉଚ୍ଚ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରୁ ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି ଏଭଳି ଘଟଣା। ଗତକାଲି ରାତିରେ ୨୭୫ ଶଯ୍ୟା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏସଏସଡି ହଷ୍ଟେଲରେ ଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାଛ ଓ ଭାତ ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ହେଲେ ଅଚାନକ ରାତିରୁ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପେଟ ବଥା ହେବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା। ଆଉ ଆଜି ଅନ୍ତେବାସିନୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ତି ହେବା ସହିତ ଝାଡା ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନେ ଗୁରୁତର ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଥିଲେ।

Several girl students residing at the SSD Girls' High School Hostel in Bada Simulia under Kaptipada Block of Mayurbhanj reportedly fell ill after suffering from diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach pain. According to the report, the students had been served fish and rice for dinner the previous night, after which many began experiencing symptoms, with some becoming seriously ill the next day. The exact cause of the illness has not yet been confirmed, and further inquiry is expected.
