All Odisha Teacher Aspirants Call Off Protest After Government Assures Action in 4 Months

ଧାରଣାରୁ ଓହରିଲେ ଅଲ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଆଶାୟୀ ସଙ୍ଘ । ସରକାରଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା ପରେ ଆଜି ସାମୂହିକ ଧାରଣାରୁ ଉଠିଛନ୍ତି । ୪ ମାସରେ ଦାବି ପୂରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ଆଶ୍ୱାସନା ଦେଇଥିବା କହିଛି ସଂଘ । ୬ ଦଫା ଦାବି ନେଇ ଅହୋରାତ୍ର ଧାରଣାରେ ବସିଥିଲେ ହଜାର ହଜାର ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଆଶାୟୀ। ରାଜ୍ୟର ସରକାରୀ ସ୍କୁଲ ଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଖାଲି ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ପଦବୀ ତୁରନ୍ତ ପୂରଣ କରାଯାଉ ବୋଲି ଦାବି କରିଥିଲେ । ଦୀର୍ଘ ଦିନ ହେବ କେବଳ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଉଥିଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ନୂଆ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଉନଥିବାରୁ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ ଆଶାୟୀ ।

The All Odisha Teacher Aspirants’ Association has withdrawn its mass protest following discussions with the state government. The association said the government has assured that its demands will be fulfilled within four months. Thousands of teacher aspirants had been staging a round-the-clock protest over a six-point charter of demands, including the immediate filling of all vacant teacher posts in government schools across Odisha. The aspirants had expressed dissatisfaction over repeated announcements regarding new recruitment without the publication of a formal recruitment notification for a long period. Following the government’s assurance, the association ended its collective sit-in today.
