Odisha Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena has reacted to the proposal concerning the lease of Bhubaneswar Airport. Jena said the proposal has not yet been received by the Odisha Government, but whatever decision is taken will keep the interests of Odisha in mind.

The Minister said the government will not allow Odisha’s interests to be compromised. He added that whether the airport becomes private or not is a separate matter, and that the government will examine the proposal once it formally receives it.
