RC Cancellation Process Begins Amid Online Auto-Rickshaw Drivers’ Agitation

ଅନଲାଇନ୍ ଅଟୋ ଚାଳକ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ନୂଆ ମୋଡ । ରେଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରେସନ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ୍ ବାତିଲ ପାଇଁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା । ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି ଫିଟନେସ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ୍ ନଥିବା, ଚାଲାଣ ପେଣ୍ଡିଂ ଥିବା ଏବଂ ଇନ୍ସୁରାନ୍ସ ନଥିବା ଗାଡ଼ିଗୁଡ଼ିକର ରେଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରେସନ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ୍ RC ବାତିଲ ପାଇଁ ପରିବହନ ବିଭାଗ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି । ଏନେଇ ଆରଟିଓ ମାନସ ମିଶ୍ର କହିଛନ୍ତି, ନିୟମ ଉଲ୍ଲଂଘନ କରୁଥିବା ଗାଡ଼ିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରି ଆରସି ବାତିଲ ପାଇଁ ନୋଟିସ୍ ଦିଆଯିବ । ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ପରେ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୩୮୦ଟି ଗାଡ଼ି ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ଗାଡ଼ି ମାଲିକଙ୍କୁ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଶୋ’କଜ୍ ନୋଟିସ୍ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା । ନୋଟିସର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବାର ସମୟସୀମା ଆଜି ଶେଷ ହେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ମାତ୍ର ୨୫ ଜଣ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି । ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇନଥିବାରୁ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଫିଟନେସ୍, ଇନ୍ସୁରାନ୍ସ ଓ ବକେୟା ଚାଲାଣ ଆଦିର ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରି ଏକ ତାଲିକା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଉଛି । ନିୟମ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯିବ ।

The Transport Department has begun the process of cancelling Registration Certificates (RCs) of vehicles that have long remained without fitness certificates, have pending challans or do not have insurance. RTO official Manas Mishra said vehicles found violating the rules will be identified and notices issued for RC cancellation. Following the agitation, police seized 380 vehicles and show-cause notices were issued to all vehicle owners. While the deadline to respond to the notices ends today, only 25 owners have reportedly responded. The department is now preparing a list after checking fitness certificates, insurance and pending challans, with further action to be taken as per rules.
