Bolero Gets Stuck in Floodwater on Nalua Bridge, Driver Rescued

ଭରା ନଦୀ ସୁଅରେ ଫସିଲା ବୋଲେରୋ । ଉଦଳା-ବାରିପଦା ୧୯ ନମ୍ବର ରାଜ୍ୟ ରାଜପଥର ନାଲୁହା ପୋଲ ଉପରେ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏଭଳି ଅଘଟଣ ଘଟିଛି । ନାଲୁହା ନଦୀରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବା ସହ ପ୍ରଖର ସ୍ରୋତ ରାସ୍ତା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି । ଫଳରେ ଉଦଳା-ବାରିପଦା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ବିଛିନ୍ନ ହୋଇଛି । ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଜଣେ ବୋଲେରୋ ଚାଳକ ଗାଡ଼ି ନେଇ ନଦୀ ସୁଅ ପାର ହେବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରିଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ପ୍ରଖର ସ୍ରୋତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବୋଲେରୋଟି ଫସିଯାଇଥିଲା। ଚାଳକ ଗାଡ଼ି ଭିତରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ଏକ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଧରି ଫସି ରହିଥିଲେ। ଘଟଣା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଖବର ପାଇ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବିଭାଗର ଟିମ୍ ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲା। ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ବୋଲେରୋ ଭିତରୁ ଚାଳକଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଭାବେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛନ୍ତି।

A Bolero got stuck in the strong current of floodwater flowing over the Nalua Bridge on the Udala-Baripada State Highway-19 in Mayurbhanj. Rising water levels in the Nalua River have disrupted communication between Udala and Baripada. The driver attempted to cross the flooded stretch but got trapped inside the vehicle for nearly an hour. A Fire Services team reached the spot and safely rescued the driver from the Bolero.
