A viral audio recording has sparked allegations of a possible police-g​anja trafficking nexus in Boudh district. The recording is being described as a conversation involving police personnel, including a Sub-Inspector and a Home Guard, in connection with an alleged ganja consignment of around 120 kg. The report alleges that a Home Guard arrested in the case claimed the ganja had been supplied by a Baghiapada outpost officer. However, the authenticity of the audio and the identities of the people heard in it are yet to be established. The concerned personnel have not given a response, according to the source report. In-charge DGP Binayatosh Mishra has ordered an investigation, including verification of the audio and identification of those involved, with a DIG-level probe also directed.
