କଂଗ୍ରେସ ସହ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବେନି ପ୍ରଧାନ ବିଚାରପତି। ଇଣ୍ଡିମେଣ୍ଡର ଅନୁରୋଧକୁ ଖାରଜ କରିଛନ୍ତି ସିଜେଆଇ। ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ଅନିୟମିତତା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ନେଇ ସ୍ମାରକପତ୍ର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାକୁ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଏବଂ ଇଣ୍ଡି ମେଣ୍ଟର ନେତାମାନେ ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ସମୟ ମାଗିଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ଏହାକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାନ କରିଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଧାନ ବିଚାରପତି ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟକାନ୍ତ। CJIଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଇମେଲ୍ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏହି ଅନୁରୋଧକୁ ରଦ୍ଦ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଏହାର କାରଣ ବି ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କରାଯାଇଛି। CJI ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ରାଜନୈତିକ ନେତାମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସୁପ୍ରିମକୋର୍ଟରେ ବିଚାରାଧୀନ ଅଛି। ତେଣୁ ଏଭଳି ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗରେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ବୈଠକ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। ସାମ୍ବିଧାନିକ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ସରକାର କିମ୍ବା ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନଙ୍କ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପରେ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ କରିବାକୁ ସୁପ୍ରିମକୋର୍ଟଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ଅଧିକାର ନାହିଁ।

Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant has rejected a request by Congress and INDIA bloc leaders seeking a meeting to submit a memorandum over alleged electoral irregularities. The leaders had sought an appointment for tomorrow to raise their concerns regarding the conduct of elections. The CJI’s office communicated the rejection through email, explaining that the issues the political leaders wanted to discuss are already pending before the Supreme Court. The CJI stated that holding a separate administrative meeting on matters under judicial consideration would not be appropriate. He also clarified that, under the constitutional framework, the Supreme Court has no administrative authority to interfere in the day-to-day functioning of the government or the Election Commission. The decision comes amid continuing political debate over allegations of electoral irregularities.
