Panic gripped residents near Naranpur village in Badamba block of Cuttack after a crocodile was spotted in Siaria Nala. Villagers suspect that the crocodile may have been swept into the water channel by floodwaters. Concerned residents informed the Forest Department, following which officials reached the spot and alerted people to remain cautious. The Forest Department has also advised villagers not to enter the nala for bathing and to stay away from the water body until the situation is under control.
