Cyclone Arnab has caused extensive damage across southern Odisha. Following heavy rainfall, a massive landslide struck Gidipabali village under Bhanjanagar block in Ganjam district, turning the village into a heap of debris. Mud and rocks cascading down the nearby Kilapanga Hill buried houses and roads, leaving little trace of the settlement.

The devastating aftermath has now come to light, with visuals showing widespread destruction. While cattle are seen wandering around the affected area, only a few houses remain visible near the foothills.

Gidipabali village is located near the Ganjam-Kandhamal border. Following the landslide, 12 people are reportedly missing, while 13 others crossed the hills and district border to take shelter in Kandhamal district.
