Cyclone Intensifies Over Bay of Bengal, Andhra Coast on Alert for October 28 Landfall

ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ମୁହାଁ ହେବ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବାତ୍ୟା। ୨୮ ତାରିଖ ସକାଳ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଉପକୂଳ ଛୁଇଁବ। ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟଚିହ୍ନିତ ଲଘୁଚାପ। ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟଚିହ୍ନିତ ଲଘୁଚାପ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ନେଇ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଆଜି ଅବପାତ, କାଲି ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତର ରୂପ ନେବ। ୨୬ରେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରେ ବାତ୍ୟାର ରୂପ ନେବ ଲଘୁଚାପ। ୨୮ ବେଳକୁ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ମୁହାଁ ହେବ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବାତ୍ୟା। ୨୮ ତାରିଖ ସକାଳ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଉପକୂଳ ଛୁଇଁପାରେ ବାତ୍ୟା। ୨୬ ସକାଳ ବେଳକୁ ୭୦-୮୦ କିମି ଏପରିକି ଝଟକା ପବନ ୯୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଛୁଇଁପାରେ । ଏହାପରେ ବାତ୍ୟାଟି ଉପକୂଳ ଆଡକୁ ଯେତିକି ବଢ଼ିବ ପବନର ବେଗ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଢ଼ିବାରେ ଲାଗିବ । ତେବେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ ବେଳେ ବେଗ କେତେ ରହିବ ସେନେଇ ଆଇଏମଡି ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏବେ କୌଣସି ଆକଳନ କରାଯାଇ ନାହିଁ । ଆଜି ଅବପାତ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ପରେ ବାତ୍ୟାର ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ଗତିପଥ ଓ ପବନର ବେଗ ସଂପର୍କରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟତା ଆସିବ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଇଛି।

A well-marked low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify into a depression today, followed by a deep depression tomorrow. The system may develop into a cyclonic storm on October 26 and move towards Andhra Pradesh, potentially reaching the coast by the morning of October 28. Wind speeds may reach 70–80 kmph, with gusts up to 90 kmph, by the morning of October 26. Winds could strengthen further as the system approaches the coast. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not yet forecast the wind speed at the time of landfall. A clearer picture of the cyclone’s likely track and intensity is expected after the depression forms.
