Cyclone Murasu May Intensify into Severe Storm, Set to Hit Andhra Coast

ବାତ୍ୟା ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣବ ଭଳି ଉଗ୍ର ହୋଇପାରେ ମୁରାସୁ । ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ବଢୁଛି ତାହାର ବଳ। ଆଜି ସାଇକ୍ଲୋନର ରୂପ ନେଇଥିବା ମୁରାସୁ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ମୁହାଁ ହେବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ପାଣିପାଗର ଗତିବିଧି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ପଶ୍ଚିମ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସିଭିୟର ସାଇକ୍ଲୋନିକ୍ ଷ୍ଟର୍ମ ତଥା ଭୀଷଣ ବାତ୍ୟାର ରୂପ ନେଇପାରେ। ତାପରେ ଉତ୍ତର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗରେ ଗତିି କରି ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଉପକୂଳକୁ ମୁହାଁଇବ। ମୁରାସୁ କାଲି ମଧ୍ୟରାତ୍ରିରୁ ୩ ତାରିଖ ଭୋର ୪ଟା ଭିତରେ ସ୍ଥଳଭାଗ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଭୀଷଣ ବାତ୍ୟା ଭାବେ ନେଲୁର୍ ଓ ନରସାପୁର ମଝିରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଉପକୂଳରେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ କରିପାରେ। ସେତେବେଳେ ପବନର ବେଗ ଘଣ୍ଟାପ୍ରତି ୧୦୦ରୁ ୧୧୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ରହିବ। ଝଟକା ପବନର ବେଗ ୧୨୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ଯାଏଁ ଛୁଇଁପାରେ। ବାତ୍ୟା ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଉପକୂଳ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବା ପରେ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ମୋଡ଼ ନେଇ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗକୁ ମୁହାଁଉଛି। ସ୍ଥଳଭାଗ ଛୁଇଁବା ପରେ ସିଧା ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରେ ତେଲେଙ୍ଗାନା ଓ ମଧ୍ୟପ୍ରଦେଶ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଗତି କରିବ। ବାତ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଆଜି ରାତିରୁ ବଢ଼ିବ ପବନ ବେଗ। ଘଣ୍ଟାପ୍ରତି ୮୦ରୁ ୯୦ ଓ ଝଟକା ପବନ ୧୦୦ କିମି ଛୁଇଁପାରେ। କାଲି ପବନର ବେଗ ଆହୁରି ବଢ଼ିବ। ବାତ୍ୟା ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଉପକୂଳକୁ ମୁହାଁଇଲେ ବି ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ରହିବ ପ୍ରଭାବ। ପୁଣି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ହେବ ବର୍ଷା ପବନ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣବ ଭଳି ପ୍ରଭାବ ସେତେ ଅଧିକ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ।..

Cyclone Murasu is gaining strength over the Bay of Bengal and is moving towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. According to the latest weather forecast, it may intensify into a severe cyclonic storm over the west-central Bay of Bengal tomorrow before moving northwestwards. Murasu is likely to make landfall between midnight tomorrow and 4 AM on November 3 along the south Andhra coast, between Nellore and Narsapur. Wind speeds at landfall may reach 100–110 kmph, with gusts up to 120 kmph. Winds are expected to strengthen from tonight, potentially reaching 80–90 kmph with gusts up to 100 kmph. Although the cyclone is heading towards Andhra Pradesh, parts of southern Odisha may also experience rain and strong winds. However, its impact on Odisha is expected to be less severe than Cyclone Arnab.
