ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ବାତ୍ୟା କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି, ଉଦ୍ଧାର ଓ ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବାତ୍ୟା ମୁରସୁକୁ ନେଇ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ପରିଚାଳନା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା। କହିଲେ, ଋଷିକୁଲ୍ୟା ନଦୀରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଘାଇ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଜଳ ସମ୍ପଦ ଓ ପୂର୍ତ୍ତ ବିଭାଗ ସହଯୋଗରେ କାମ ଚାଲିଛି। ନିଖୋଜ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାମ ଚାଲିଛି। ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଭୂତି ଜେନା ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। NDRF, ODRAF, ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ନିୟୋଜିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି । କାଦୁଆ, ପଙ୍କ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଉଦ୍ଧାରକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଉଛି। ସେନସର୍ ମେସିନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ନିଖୋଜଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜା ଚାଲିଛି । ଏହାସହ ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବାତ୍ୟା ମୋରାସୁକୁ ନେଇ ସରକାର ସଜାଗ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ପାହାଡ଼ ତଳିଆ ଜନବସତି ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯିବ। କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ପୂରଣ ପାଇଁ ଟଙ୍କାର ଅଭାବ ନାହିଁ। ଆମ ପାଖରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାପ୍ତ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଅର୍ଥ ମହଜୁଦ ଅଛି। ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ପଡ଼ିଲେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଅର୍ଥ ଯୋଗେଇ ଦେବା। କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଟିମ୍ ୨ ତାରିଖରେ ଆସିବାର ଥିଲା। ହେଲେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟେ ବାତ୍ୟା ଆସୁଥିବାରୁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଟିମ୍ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆସିବାକୁ ୪ ରୁ ୫ଦିନ ବିଳମ୍ବ ହେବ। କ୍ଷତିପୂରଣ ଆକଳନ କରି ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଦିଆଯିବ। ଆଜି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ବାତ୍ୟା କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ନେଇ ଆର୍ଥିକ ପ୍ୟାକେଜ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ।....

Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari has reviewed the cyclone damage, rescue operations in Ganjam and preparations for the possible Cyclone Murasu. He said breaches have occurred at several points along the Rishikulya River, with repair work underway in coordination with the Water Resources and Works Departments. Rescue operations to trace missing people are continuing, with NDRF, ODRAF and Fire Services personnel deployed. Mud and sludge are hampering the operation, while sensor machines are being used to search for the missing. The government is also preparing to evacuate people living in settlements near hill slopes ahead of the possible cyclone. The Minister said there is no shortage of funds for compensation and that the Central team’s visit may be delayed by four to five days due to the approaching cyclone. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to announce a financial relief package for cyclone-affected areas of South Odisha.
