A large number of devotees have gathered in Puri for Habisha during the holy month of Kartik. However, some elderly women have alleged that they were denied entry to the Habishiali camp at Brundabati Niwas despite completing registration. According to the complaints, discrepancies in names on Aadhaar cards and age details showing over 80 years have led to their exclusion from the camp. The women, who had arrived in Puri to observe the Kartik rituals, were reportedly asked to return home, leaving them distressed and in tears.
