କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ସହରରେ ଅଚଳ ହୋଇ ପଡିରହିଛି ସିସିଟିଭି କ୍ୟାମେରା । ସହରର ବହୁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସିସିଟିଭି ନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଅନେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲାଗିଥିବା ସିସିଟିଭି କାମ କରୁନାହିଁ । ସହରର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ମାର୍ଗରେ ଲାଗିଥିବା କିଛି ହାତଗଣତି କ୍ୟାମେରା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ କରୁଛି ହେଲେ ଗଳିକନ୍ଦି ରାସ୍ତାରେ ସିସି କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲଗାଯାଇନାହିଁ । ଯାହାର ଭରପୁର ସୁଯୋଗ ନେଉଛନ୍ତି ଅପରାଧୀ । ଯେଉଁ ଅଂଚଳରେ ସିସିଟିଭି ନାହିଁ ସେଠାରେ ହିଁ ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଟାର୍ଗେଟ କରାଯାଉଛି ।

With the festive season approaching, concerns are growing over CCTV surveillance in Kendrapara town. CCTV cameras installed at several locations are reportedly non-functional, while many areas have no cameras at all. Only a handful of cameras on the town’s main roads are currently working, leaving lanes and smaller roads without CCTV coverage. The report highlights concerns that criminals are taking advantage of these surveillance gaps, with women reportedly being targeted in areas without CCTV cameras.
