ବନ୍ୟା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ପିଇବା ପାଣିର ସଙ୍କଟ। ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ରହିଛି ନଳକୂପ। ପାଣି ଟୋପାଏ ପାଇଁ ନାହିଁ ନଥିବା ଅସୁବିଧାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ବନ୍ୟା ବିପନ୍ନ। କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଳିର ବନ୍ୟା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି ପିଇବା ପାଣିର ସମସ୍ୟା। ଖରସ୍ରୋତା, ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣୀ, ଓ କାଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ବନ୍ୟା ଆସିବା ଫଳରେ ୩ଦିନ ହେଲା ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡି ରହିଛି ସବୁ ନଳକୂପ। ପିଇବା ପାଇଁ ପାଣି ପାଉନାହାନ୍ତି ଲୋକେ। ଖୁବଶୀଘ୍ର ପିଇବା ପାଣି ଯୋଗାଇ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି ବନ୍ୟା ବିପନ୍ନ।

A drinking water crisis has emerged in flood-affected areas of Aul in Kendrapara district, where several tube wells have remained submerged for the past three days. Flooding of the Kharasrota, Brahmani and Kani rivers has left water sources underwater, forcing flood-affected residents to struggle for even a drop of drinking water. With access to safe drinking water severely disrupted, affected villagers have urged the authorities to ensure an immediate supply of drinking water in the flood-hit areas.
