ଭସାଣି ବେଳେ ଅଘଟଣ। କରେଣ୍ଟ ଲାଗି ଜଣେ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୫ ଜଣ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡା ଜିଲା ନିକିରାଇ ଥାନା ଜୟକୃଷ୍ଣପୁର ଗାଁରେ ଗଣେଶ ଭସାଣି ବେଳେ ଏହି ଅଘଟଣ ଘଟିଛି। ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ସମୟରେ ଗାଁରେ ଭସାଣି ଚାଲିଥିବା ବେଳେ ୫-୬ ଜଣ ଡିଜେ ତାର ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଏଥିରେ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଚାଲିଯାଇଛି। ଅନ୍ୟ ୫ ଜଣ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଆହତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୨ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଅବସ୍ଥା ସଙ୍କଟାପନ୍ନ ଥିବାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କଟକ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି।

A person died and five others were injured after coming in contact with an electric wire during Ganesh idol immersion in Jayakrishnapur village under Nikirai police station in Kendrapada district. The incident occurred in the evening while the immersion procession was underway in the village. Around five to six people reportedly came in contact with a DJ wire, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to five others. Two of the injured were reportedly in critical condition and have been shifted to Cuttack for treatment.
