The devastating impact of floods is still visible across affected areas, with homes covered in layers of mud and roads damaged by the surging water. As floodwaters gradually recede, residents are cleaning their houses and struggling to rebuild their lives, while road connectivity is slowly returning to normal. However, damaged roads continue to disrupt travel. Meanwhile, homeless families staged a road blockade at Badakodanda Chhak bypass, demanding compensation after alleging that 12 houses in Mashani Sahi were washed away in the floods.
