ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ତୁହାକୁ ତୁହା ବର୍ଷା । ଉତ୍ତର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଇଥିବା ଲଘୁଚାପ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଭୀଷଣ ବର୍ଷା ଜାରି ରହିଛି । ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପାଇଁ ୪ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ, କେନ୍ଦୁଝର, ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଓ ଭଦ୍ରକକୁ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି ରେଡ୍ ଆଲର୍ଟ । ବର୍ଷା ସହିତ ଘଣ୍ଟାପ୍ରତି ୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ବେଗରେ ବହିପାରିବେ ପବନ । ସେହିଭଳି ୧୧ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଅତିପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ଓ ବାକି ୧୫ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ବି ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ପ୍ରବଳରୁ ଅତି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ରେଡ୍ ଓ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ । ଲଘୁଚାପରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରେ ଗତି କରିବା ସହ ଆହୁରି ଘନୀଭୂତ ହେବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି । ଫଳରେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ତିନି ଦିନ ବର୍ଷା ଲାଗି ରହିବ । ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ବର୍ଷାର ପରିମାଣ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ୨୦ ତାରିଖ ଯାଏଁ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଛାଡ଼ିବନି ବୋଲି ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆକଳନ କରାଯାଇଛି ।

Heavy rainfall continues across Odisha under the influence of a low-pressure area formed over the northwest Bay of Bengal. A Red Alert has been issued for Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Baleshwar and Bhadrak for the next 24 hours, with winds likely to reach 50 kmph. An Orange Alert has been issued for 11 districts for very heavy rainfall, while 15 districts are under Yellow Alert for heavy rain. The low-pressure system is likely to move northwards and intensify further, with rain expected to continue across the state for three days. Though rainfall may decrease slightly tomorrow, the Meteorological Centre has forecast that it will not completely subside until August 20.
