ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷାରେ ବେହାଲ ମାଲକାନଗିରି । ଗତ ଗୁରୁବାରଠାରୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଲାଗି ରହିଥିବା ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଅନେକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ବନ୍ୟା ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଫୁଲିଛି ନଦୀନାଳ, ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ୩୨୬ର କାଙ୍କରକୁଣ୍ଡା ଏବଂ ପୋଟେରୁ ପୋଲ ଉପରେ ଚାଲିଛି ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ । ଫଳରେ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ, ତେଲେଙ୍ଗାନା ଓ ଛତିଶଗଡ଼କୁ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି। ଆଜି ପାଇଁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି ।
Malkangiri is reeling under continuous heavy rainfall, with several parts of the district witnessing flood-like conditions since Thursday. Rivers and streams are swollen, while floodwater is flowing over the Kankarkunda and Poteru bridges on National Highway 326, affecting connectivity with Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. An Orange Warning has been issued for the district today, raising concerns that the situation could worsen if rainfall intensifies further. The administration and police are keeping a close watch on the situation.
