ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଖଲ୍ଲିକୋଟରେ ଗଛ କାଟିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ଗାଡ଼ି ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାଗ୍ରସ୍ତ। ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବସ୍ ସହ ମୁହାଁମୁହିଁ ଧକ୍କା... ଅଳ୍ପକେ ବର୍ତ୍ତିଲେ ୫ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ କର୍ମଚାରୀ.... ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଖଲ୍ଲିକୋଟ ବ୍ଲକର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ରାସ୍ତାରେ ଗଛ ପଡ଼ି ଯାତାୟାତ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ରାସ୍ତା ସଫା କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ ଗାଡ଼ି ଏକ ବଡ଼ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହୋଇଛି। ତେବେ ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟବଶତଃ ଏହି ବଡ଼ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାରୁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଓ ବସ୍ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ଅଳ୍ପକେ ବର୍ତ୍ତି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି।

A fire service vehicle met with an accident while heading to clear fallen trees in Khallikote, Ganjam district. The vehicle collided head-on with a Chief Minister’s bus on the Narayani-Badapalli road. Five fire service personnel narrowly escaped the major accident. Due to incessant rain, trees have fallen at several places across Khallikote block, disrupting road connectivity. The fire service team was on its way to clear the roads when the collision occurred. Fortunately, the firefighters and passengers on the bus reportedly escaped without serious injury.
