More than 200 families in Kandha Koili and Siti Koili revenue villages under Manikjodi panchayat of Angul Sadar block are struggling with basic facilities. Located around 25 kilometres from Angul block and surrounded by hills and dense forests, the villages face serious connectivity problems. After travelling about five kilometres through the forest from Antulia, people encounter rough and muddy roads where even walking is difficult and bike wheels often sink into the mud. The villages are also facing a lack of drinking water and teachers at the local school, adding to the hardship of residents.
