College campuses in Odisha have turned lively after the announcement of student union elections. Students across various colleges in Kendrapara district were seen celebrating the decision with enthusiasm. At Sri Sri Jagannath Mahavidyalaya in Rajnagar, students burst crackers and distributed sweets to welcome the government’s decision. Student union elections had remained suspended in colleges for eight years, and their announcement this year has triggered celebrations among students across the state.
