ସୁନାମି ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଓଡ଼ିଶା। ୬ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୦୦ ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଗ୍ରାମ ସୁନାମି ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ବା ସୁନାମି ରେଡି ଭାବେ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କଲା ବିପର୍ଜୟ ପରିଚାଳନା ବିଭାଗ। ୨୦୨୪ ମସିହାରେ ୨ଟି ଗାଁକୁ ସୁନାମି ରେଡି ଏବଂ ୨୦୨୬ରେ ଆଉ ୭୫ଟି ଗ୍ରାମକୁ ସୁନାମି ରେଡି ଭାବେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ମିଳିବା ସହ ଏହି ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଏବେ ୧୦୦ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି। ରାଜ୍ୟର ୬ଟି ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୩୮୧ଟି ସୁନାମି ପ୍ରବଣ ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଗ୍ରାମ ଓ ଜନବସତିକୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ସୁନାମି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବାର ବୃହତ୍ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଗରେ ଏହା ଏକ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଅଗ୍ରଗତି।

Odisha has made significant progress in tsunami preparedness, with 100 coastal villages across six districts identified as “Tsunami Ready” by the Disaster Management Department. According to the source, two villages received the recognition in 2024, while another 75 villages were recognised in 2026, taking the stated total to 100.
