ଭୋଗରାଇରୁ ୫ ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ଘଟଣା । ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଲା ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ହୋଟେଲ ମାଲିକଙ୍କ ପରିଚୟ । ଦୀଘାର ହୋଟେଲ ମାଲିକ ଜୟନ୍ତ ମାଇତି ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଜୟନ୍ତଙ୍କ ହାୱଡ଼ା ଘରେ ରେଡ୍ କରିଛି ଏସଟିଏଫ୍। ଘଟଣା ପରଠୁ ଜୟନ୍ତ ମାଇତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ଫେରାର ଥିବା ସୂଚନାମିଳିଛି। ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ହୋଟେଲ ଓ ଏସୟୁଭି ଗାଡ଼ି ଜୟନ୍ତଙ୍କର ହୋଇଥିବା ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା ହେଉଛି। ଏହି ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ ହୋଟେଲରେ ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନ ଚାଲାଣର ବଡ଼ ଡିଲ୍ ହୋଇଥିବା ସନ୍ଦେହ କରାଯାଉଛି। ସେହି ହୋଟେଲ ମାଲିକ ବାପ-ପୁଅଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀଭୂତ ହୋଇଛି ତଦନ୍ତ। ୫ ଦିନର ଛାନଭିନରେ ୧୫୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ସିସିଟିଭି ଫୁଟେଜ୍ ଯାଞ୍ଚ ହୋଇଛି। ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି ଅନେକ ସନ୍ଦିଗ୍ଧ କାରବାରର ଫୁଟେଜ୍। ଏନେଇ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରି ତଦନ୍ତ ଆଗକୁ ବଢାଉଛି ଏସଟିଏଫ। ଏପଟେ ନନ୍ଦନକାନନରେ ୫ ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନ ଛୁଆଙ୍କ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ନଜର ରହିଛି। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇଣ୍ଡୋନେସିଆ ଫେରାଇବା ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବକୁ ନାପସନ୍ଦ କରିଛନ୍ତି ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ ।

The identity of the suspected hotel owner linked to the rescue of five orangutans from Bhograi has come to light. Digha hotel owner Jayanta Maiti has reportedly been identified, while the STF conducted a raid at his house in Howrah. Jayanta Maiti and his son are reportedly absconding since the incident. The suspected hotel and SUV are believed to belong to Jayanta, with investigators suspecting that a major deal for orangutan trafficking may have taken place at the hotel. The investigation is now focused on the father-son duo. Over five days, more than 150 CCTV footage recordings have been examined, revealing several suspected activities. The STF has registered a case and is continuing its investigation. Meanwhile, the health of the five orangutan babies at Nandankanan is being closely monitored, while wildlife experts have opposed the proposal to return them to Indonesia.
