‘ପୋଲିସକୁ ପାଖକୁ ଲୋକ ନୁହେଁ, ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପାଖକୁ ପୋଲିସ ଯିବ । ପିପୁଲ ଫ୍ରେଣ୍ଡଲି, ଟିମ ୱାର୍କ ହୋଇ କାମ କରିବୁ । ଆଇନକୁ ହାତ ମୁଠାକୁ ନିଅନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ, ପୋଲିସ ଜଣାନ୍ତୁ । ଅପରାଧୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଠୋର ହେବ ପୋଲିସ । ଆଇନକୁ ହାତକୁ ନେଲେ ନିଆଯିବ କଠୋର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ । ଫୁଟ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଂ ଓ ବିଟ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଂ ଉପରେ ରହିବ ନଜର । ପାର୍ବଣ ଭିଡ଼ ଭିତରେ ମହିଳା ଅପରାଧୀଙ୍କ ଗତି ବିଧି ରୁହେ। ପୂଜାରେ ସାଧା ପୋଷାକ ଓ ସିସିଟିଭିରେ ନଜର ରଖିବ ପୋଲିସ। ସାଇବର ଅପରାଧକୁ ମୁକାବିଲା କରିବାକୁ ହେଲେ ଅଜଣା ନମ୍ବର ଓ ଲୋକ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରେଇ ରହିବା ହେଉଛି ବଡ଼ ମନ୍ତ୍ର । ମହିଳା ଓ ଶିଶୁ ମାନକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦେବା ରହିବ ପ୍ରାଥମିକତା। ନିଶା ବିରୋଧରେ ବଡ଼ ଧରଣର ଅଭିଯାନ କରାଯିବା। - ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ନେବା ପରେ ନବ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଡିସିପି ସର୍ବଣା ବିବେକ୍ ଏମଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ।

Newly appointed Bhubaneswar DCP Saravana Vivek M said the police will reach out to people and work in a people-friendly, team-based manner. He urged people not to take the law into their own hands and said strict action will be taken against criminals and those violating the law. He said foot and beat patrolling will be strengthened, while police will monitor festival crowds through CCTV and personnel in plain clothes. He also highlighted the safety of women and children, action against drug abuse and precautions against cybercrime by avoiding unknown numbers and people.
