Puri Beach on Red Flag Alert, Sea Bathing Restricted Amid Rough Weather

ଲଘୁଚାପ ଜନିତ ବର୍ଷା ଓ ସାମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ପାଣିପାଗକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଦମକଳ ବିଭାଗ ବାହିନୀ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପୁରୀ ବେଳାଭୂମିରେ ପୋତାଗଲା ନାଲି ପତାକା । ସମୁଦ୍ର ସ୍ନାନ ପାଇଁ କଟକଣା ଲାଗୁ ପାଇଁ ସମୁଦ୍ର କୂଳ ଠାରୁ ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ସ୍ନାନ ଉପରେ କଟକଣା । ନୀଳାଦ୍ରି ବିଚ୍ ଠାରୁ ରୁ ଶୁଭ ପ୍ୟାଲେସ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ୧୬ ଟି ଯାକ ସେକ୍ଟରରେ ନାଲି ପତାକା ଲାଗିଛି । ଘନ ଘନ ପଇଁତରା ମାରି ATV ଭ୍ୟାନ୍ ସଚେତନ କରାଉଛି ।

In view of rain caused by the low-pressure area and the possibility of adverse weather, the Fire Services Department has put up red flags across all 16 sectors of Puri Beach, from Niladri Beach to Shubha Palace. Tourists have been restricted from venturing deeper into the sea for bathing. ATV vans are carrying out frequent patrols and making announcements to create awareness. With high tides and strong rip currents prevailing, lifeguards are advising tourists not to go too far into the sea. Jet skis and rescue tubes have been kept ready as part of the safety arrangements. A Fire Services officer said close monitoring is being maintained to prevent any loss of life among tourists.
