A large number of Habisyalis have gathered in Srikshetra (Puri) to observe the holy month of Kartik. However, some registered devotees are allegedly being denied entry to the Habisyali camps due to discrepancies in their Aadhaar cards, including ages recorded above 80 years and errors in their names. Elderly women were seen crying after reportedly being asked to return home despite arriving in Puri to observe the Habisya rituals. The incident has raised concerns over the difficulties faced by elderly devotees who have completed the registration process but are allegedly unable to stay at the camps.
