A remarkable story from Sikabadi village under Daringbadi block, where five of Bursi Pradhan and Anusuya’s seven children are pursuing medical education despite severe financial hardship. Elder son Bibhishan Pradhan is doing his internship at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College & Hospital, Koraput, while Monalisa Pradhan is a second-year medical student there. Three more siblings—Sunemi, Esariya and Meenakshi—have cleared NEET and secured admission to medical colleges in Puri, Balangir and Bhawanipatna.
