A major fertiliser seizure in Odisha’s Kandhamal has raised questions over the alleged diversion of DAP meant for agriculture. Police seized around 35 tonnes of DAP fertiliser from a warehouse in Baliguda, allegedly stocked for illegal cannabis cultivation. The warehouse was sealed and a case was registered, while the truck carrying the fertiliser was also seized.
