ମହାନଦୀରେ ପୁଣି ଆସୁଛି ବନ୍ୟା। ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା, କଟକ, ପୁରୀ, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଓ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ସତର୍କତା।କାଲି ସକାଳ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ମୁଣ୍ଡଳିରେ ଚାଲିବ ୮ ଲକ୍ଷ କ୍ୟୁସେକ୍ ପାଣି।ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଓ ଉପରମୁଣ୍ଡ ଛତିଶଗଡ଼ରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ପରେ ଫୁଲୁଛି ହୀରାକୁଦ। ସ୍ଥିତିର ମୁକାବିଲା ଲାଗି ୨୫ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ଡ୍ୟାମରୁ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ। ପ୍ରବଳ ଗର୍ଜନ କରି ତଳମୁଣ୍ଡକୁ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି ପାଣି।

Flood fear is rising again in the Mahanadi as 28 gates of Hirakud Dam have been opened following heavy rainfall in western Odisha and upper Chhattisgarh. Khordha, Cuttack, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara districts have been alerted. Around 8 lakh cusecs of water is expected to flow through Mundali by tomorrow morning, while floodwater is being released downstream through more than 25 gates of the dam.
