ଏ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ରାସ୍ତା ଓ କୋଠାବାଡ଼ି ନିର୍ମାଣ ବିଭାଗ ଡିଭିଜନ-1 ର ସେକ୍ସନ ଅଫିସର ବନଲତା ମହାନ୍ତି। ମାଡାମ୍ ଗତ 2021ରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରର ଏହି ଅଫିସରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।ଅଭିଯୋଗ ରହିଛି, 2022-23ରୁ 2025-26 ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମାଡାମ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଟିମ୍ ଚଳୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି 9 କୋଟି 24 ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା। ଏହି ଟିମ୍ ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଜୁନିଅର ଆସିଷ୍ଟାଣ୍ଟ ବିଭୁଦତ୍ତ ନାୟକ, ପିଅନ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମଣ ବିଶ୍ବାଳ, ଦୀପକ କୁମାର ରାଉତରାୟ, ଦୁଇ ଘରୋଇ ଡାଟା ଏଣ୍ଟ୍ରି ଅପରେଟର ରାଜୀବଲୋଚନ ସେନାପତି ଓ ସୌମ୍ୟରଂଜନ ମହାପାତ୍ର।

Banalata Mohanty, a Section Officer at the Bhubaneswar Roads and Buildings Division-1, joined the office in 2021. According to the Vigilance information cited in the report, she and her team allegedly misappropriated ₹9.24 crore between the 2022-23 and 2025-26 financial years. The alleged team included a Junior Assistant, a peon, two other employees and two private data-entry operators. Mohanty was reportedly handling paperwork related to gratuity, pension, leave and contingency fund payments for retiring employees.
