A shocking murder case has emerged from Guwahati, where the body of 25-year-old Riya Talukdar was reportedly found inside her apartment on September 6, just a few months after her marriage. Police reached the apartment after neighbours complained that the couple had not been seen for two days, their phones were switched off and a foul smell was coming from the house. Riya's body was found inside, and police later recovered her severed head in a polythene bag kept inside a freezer.
