A heartbreaking wildlife situation has emerged from the Tensa–Barsua Ghat area under the Koida mining circle in Odisha. A mother monkey carrying her young one is seen struggling for food and shelter after forests and hills were cleared for mining and development. Wildlife is reportedly being forced towards human settlements in search of food and habitat.
